Historical context

Honeybunch’s published history describes a puppy transfer from Maurice Carver to James Crenshaw in 1972. Catalogs name Bullyson and Carver’s Amber as her parents; her reported family includes Jeep, Charlie, Holly and Missy. The profile retains the different weight reports and their source context. Historical ROM and competition designations remain source terminology, not a PITVU rating. The reproduced Irish Jerry account gives a different custody sequence: he says he bought Honeybunch from Carver as a five-month-old puppy in 1972 and sold her to Crenshaw in the mid-1970s. This conflicts with the retrospective’s direct Carver-to-Crenshaw transfer in 1972; neither version is treated as resolved. In Jerry’s attributed account, Honeybunch’s mating to Oso Negro produced nine puppies, two male. He says Kimsey Wood chose two females as his pick; no litter date is given. An archived copy of Online Pedigrees record 3, printed in 2010, gives a 43 lb chain weight. Its separate conditioned-weight field reads 37–40 without an explicit unit. These source fields are retained alongside the other weight reports, not averaged or treated as interchangeable categories. The print date is not a dog event, and the catalogue number is not an examined certificate. Stratton’s Crenshaw-attributed gift version (2019) adds another unresolved custody account.

Crenshaw’s Honeybunch · Attributed historical photograph; photographer unknown. Embedded figure in Mariano Peinado’s Carver report (Villa Liberty). Source JPEG and complete frame retained; WebP derivatives by PITVU.

Photograph source · Reuse basis

The report explicitly captions this embedded figure as Crenshaw’s Honeybunch. The photograph shows a standing tan female with a dark muzzle; the caption explicitly pairs the Carver and Crenshaw names for Honeybunch. This matches the existing PITVU historical identity and the report’s linked pedigree record. Original photographer, exposure date and primary photographic caption are unestablished. Attribution is source-reported, not conclusively confirmed.

Mariano Peinado’s signed historical article expressly authorizes copying and distribution: “tienen nuestra autorización para copiarlo y difundirlo”. This is an embedded captioned figure in that article, not an unrelated pedigree image. PITVU relies on that publisher-author authorization for the article and its embedded figure; no separate exclusion was found for this figure. The underlying historical photographer and first publication are unknown, and the publisher’s complete rights chain is not independently authenticated. This does not establish permission for other pages or collections. The original HTML, caption, download URL and SHA-256 are retained.
