Colby’s Tige appears in the published ancestry of Bunch. The caption in Joseph L. Colby’s 1936 book reports a birth year of 1896, names John P. Colby as breeder and historical owner, and gives a 35 lb historical pit weight (about 16 kg). These remain source-attributed details; the date of the photograph is unknown. Louis Colby’s recollection in the 1997 history describes J.P. taking Tige swimming at the Merrimack River harbour. This is a family reminiscence, not a contemporaneous event record. The 1997 history connects Tige to Bill Lightner through Topsey, a female selected by J.P. Colby from Tige and Neitz for Lightner. This describes an early family exchange, without establishing its date or adding accepted pedigree links. The book’s registration list names Jack The Ripper II (AKC 107570), born 2 February 1903, from Tige and Daisy, and Colby’s Tim, born 10 August 1905, from Tige and Mag. These remain transcribed historical family references.

FIAPBT public pedigree record 5652 — Colby's Bunch
FIAPBT pedigree catalog · Catalog record · Accessed
One inspected user-contributed pedigree table has 28 occupied positions; two further currently published Racine Sam ancestor links yield 29 visible PITVU positions because the independently published Mitchell Paddy dam slot remains disputed and is withheld. Linked individual pages belong to the same catalog, not independent confirmation. The ambiguous Colby Rose (1910s) label and Bunch 1909 source birth date are not resolved as historical chronology; no dates or ownership imported. All new parentage remains pending source-reported.
