      The exact 1936book plate labels this standing dog COLBY’S TIGE. The adjacent printed caption says whelped 1896, sire Colby’s Paddy, dam Colby’s Jennie, and identifies John P. Colby, Newburyport. This matches existing PITVU public_id 01M59C4C2VSANBXZ8JV5KT5K7R/catalog_key colbys-tige, FIAPBT 12590 and the retained 5652 Bunch parent context; it is not another modern Tige. Identification is attributed to this original caption, not independently authenticated. Whelping 1896 is NOT the photograph’s exposure date, which is unknown. The first retained publication here is this 1936 book.
