Historical context

The Foundation Pedigrees chart in Louis Colby and Diane Jessup’s 1997 book names Cockney Charlie Lloyd’s Pansy as imported and pairs that name with Pilot above Mitchell’s Paddy. Colby’s Pansy appears separately as Pincher’s dam: these are different named positions. Other catalogues put Charlie Lloyd’s Paddy in the former maternal position. This dossier preserves the Pansy reference and the conflicting version without merging the dogs or inventing dates and ownership.
