FIAPBT identifies Otis as a son of Giroux’s Gunner and Beal’s Ginger, bred by Beal and historically owned by James Crenshaw. The same record names Brabham & Singleton’s Snake among his offspring, connecting this individual with the Honeybunch family accounts. Published descriptions differ: brown and white with a 44 lb chain weight in FIAPBT, light fawn with a 21.77 kg chain weight in GameDogs; its separate 19.96 kg pit weight is retained as a different measurement. Otis’s FIAPBT table gives Orday’s Tuffy and Orday’s Pat as Gunner’s parents, and Fesperman’s Bucky and Schultz’ Prima as Ginger’s parents. Pat appears again through Prima, making the paternal and maternal routes easy to distinguish. Bucky’s branch brings Tudor’s Jeff and Tudor’s Coffee into this reported family context.
