Colby's Mag is the female in FIAPBT 12612. The record names J.P. Colby as breeder and J.P. Colby as historical owner. The source gives birth as 1901-11-10. Jack White’s Teddy and Colby’s Pansy are the reported parents. The record describes Mag as Pincher’s full sister and gives a white coat with brindle patches; this is an attributed catalogue account, kept distinct from Maggie and Margie. The 1997 book labels Mag’s caption “1896” and reports her death on 16 August 1910. That unexplained caption year predates the catalogue’s explicit birth entry, 1901-11-10; the chronology remains unresolved. The family history’s registration list names Mag as the dam of Colby’s Tim (AKC 136015), born 10 August 1905, with Tige as sire. This offspring date does not resolve Mag’s conflicting birth reports.

FIAPBT public pedigree record 5652 — Colby's Bunch
FIAPBT pedigree catalog · Catalog record · Accessed
One inspected user-contributed pedigree table has 28 occupied positions; two further currently published Racine Sam ancestor links yield 29 visible PITVU positions because the independently published Mitchell Paddy dam slot remains disputed and is withheld. Linked individual pages belong to the same catalog, not independent confirmation. The ambiguous Colby Rose (1910s) label and Bunch 1909 source birth date are not resolved as historical chronology; no dates or ownership imported. All new parentage remains pending source-reported.

Public book OCR reviewed; original page images and contemporary documents were not independently examined. This is the same 1997 publication as the other Colby-book citations, not independent corroboration. The Mag caption includes 1896 without defining the date type and reports death on 16 August 1910; its bare year is not treated as another birth date. The swimming anecdote and Pup/Prince relationship are family-history reports. No book passages or photographs have been reproduced.
